Ensemble Theatre has revealed the lineup for its 2024 season, with everything from fresh new comedy, insightful dramas, musical influences and re-imagined classics. Next year sees another ten-play season take to the stage, featuring stellar cast names and brilliant playwrights, with a continued focus on female writing and directing. 

Shaun Rennie (Director) allows Tennessee Williams’ words to be the hero of the night as he presents a captivatingly simple expression of SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER at Ensemble Theatre.

Ensemble Theatre will bring to the stage Tennessee Williams’ gothic melodrama, Suddenly Last Summer, on from 15th May to 10th June 2023. 

'Compère extraordinaire' Reuben Kaye will make his Sydney Opera House debut when he hosts two exclusive performances of Opera Up Late, a bespoke arts event from Opera Australia, in association with Sydney WorldPride, on 18 and 23 February.

Les Solomon created his talent management company Lambert House Enterprises in 1996. It added an acting agency in 1997 (25 years ago) and has flourished since with so many famous performers who have grown and had their careers developed by Les and his staff.

Bell Shakespeare today announced the first two cast members of the upcoming production and world premiere of The Lovers, a pop musical written by young Australian writer and composer Laura Murphy reimagining Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream with a fresh and infectious original score.

Audiences will be treated to the premiere of The Lovers, a new contemporary musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, the unveiling of the company's first theatre space The Neilson Nutshell at their new home at Pier 2/3, a tour of The Comedy of Errors, and revivals of Hamlet and company founder John Bell's solo performance of One Man In His Time.
