The Ukulele Kids Club celebrated its 10th anniversary with its first in-person UKC Broadway Cabaret fundraiser on May 8th at The Green Room 42. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out photos from the red carpet here!

The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin announced that it is bringing back live performances for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The shows will begin taping starting in April from the Broadway Makers Marketplace, the new For Broadway Fans, By Broadway Fans Pop Up Shop located in the Turnstyle Underground Market at Columbus Circle (57th & 8th Ave Subway Station).

 Thanks to a group of dedicated Broadway fans and members of the Broadway Community, fans have a new place to hang out and shop but you have to go underground for it.

As the world continues to change, and we try to keep the spirit of the holidays alive, Dance Molinari wanted to make sure that the show goes on this year! The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, is presenting the return engagement of the Off-Broadway production of Gerard Alessandrini's hilarious musical spoof of all things theatre Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation. Performances resumed Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2020 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway, one of NYC's best-loved and highly anticipated productions, is back this season after a five-year absence.

Broadway actors Julia Haubner and Ian Saraceni have joined the cast of The Perfect Fit, a new family musical featuring book, music and lyrics by twelve-year-old musical sensation Joshua Turchin (The Little Mermaid Live-To-Film, Forbidden Broadway Salutes Carol Channing, A Christmas Story National Tour, TrevorLive, The Pill). The production will be making its world premiere in a staged developmental production that will run August 11 - 23 as part of the Rave Theater Festival.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' June 14, 2019 at 7pm. Turchin previously performed several successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage.

Producer The Green Room 42 played host on Sunday, February 10, 2019, to the third edition of The Early Night Show LIVE! created, written, directed, accompanied, and performed by 12 year old Joshua Turchin. The young performer, writer and composer drew lots of laughs and applause throughout the cabaret featuring music, sketch comedy, improv, and special guests Yuka Takara, Ellis Gage, Bonale Fambrini, Monroe George, Audrey Bennett, Sydney Chan, Eleanor Koski, McKayla Twiggs, Ava Ulloa (on drums), and Shaina Turchin.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' on February 10, 2019 at 2pm. Wondering what the kids of Broadway, Movies and TV do when they are not working? Broadway Kids Jam just launched its new series, featuring amazingly talented working kids who love to jam and make music when they are not performing on Broadway, or making movies, TV shows or commercials. Each video the kids work on a song, figure out the words, melody and parts of the song for about an hour, and then videotape their jam session. Sure they may forget some words or miss a few notes, but they have so much fun playing together and supporting each other's talents! They come from different backgrounds and are different ages, with different talents and abilities, but share a common bond - MUSIC.

Answering the age-old question of what Jewish children do on Christmas, 11-Year-Old BroadwayWorld Award-Winner Joshua Turchin has released the official video for his original single 'What's a Jew to Do on Christmas?' which will be available this holiday season on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, among other stations and distribution channels.
