Rehearsals Begin for National Theatre's Touring Production of JEKYLL & HYDE for Schools

Rehearsals have started for the National Theatre’s upcoming touring production of Evan Placey’s radical reimagining of Jekyll & Hyde. Following the success of the Jekyll & Hyde schools tour in 2022, the production will be seen by students from 60 state secondary schools across the country from 8 January – 16 March 2024.

Rufus Norris has been nominated for several awards throughout his career. He was nominated for Best Director at the Evening Standard Awards for his work on "The Amen Corner" and "Festen." He also received a nomination for Best Director at the Olivier Awards for "London Road" and "Festen." In addition, Norris was nominated for Outstanding Director of a Play at the Outer Critics Circle Awards for "Les Liaisons Dangereuses." He was also honored with the Milton Shulman Award for Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Awards for "Afore Night Come."

Rufus Norris has won several awards throughout his career. He received the Best Director award at the Evening Standard Awards for his work on the play "Festen". He also won the Milton Shulman Award for Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Awards for his direction of "Afore Night Come". These accolades highlight Norris's talent and recognition in the theater industry.
