Michael Knight is no stranger to the Orlando entertainment scene. Since moving here, the multi-talented artist has worked as a performer, writer, director and producer for various theme parks, theatres and festivals. He is also the co-founder and creative director of New Generation Theatrical, a local, Orlando theatre company that was founded in 2019 and has produced a variety of shows, ranging from well-known musicals like NEXT TO NORMAL and SWEENEY TODD, to original comedies like THE F. MARRYKILL AFFAIR and The Gothic Series. The company aims to provide accessible, immersive and original theatrical experiences to a diverse audience.

Osceola Arts is thrilled to bring Cruel Intentions: The 90's Musical to the stage for the very first time. Beginning Friday, June 9th and running through Sunday, June 18th, the Central Florida premiere of this new musical will be on the Osceola Arts Main Stage.

 New Generation Theatrical, an Orlando-based non-profit that supports the theatrical arts, has announced its 2023 Season with a slate of seven shows, including two original productions written and directed by New Generation Theatrical producer Michael Knight.  In addition, in January, New Generation Theatrical will present a preseason run of last season’s sold-out show, Gothic Manor.

New Generation Theatrical has announced the 16 play selections that will perform in the inaugural Be Original Theater Festival at the Dr. Phillips Center. The festival will be held at the Dr. Phillips Center October 4 a?" 6, 2019, and will feature 32 total performances over three days, spread throughout the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater and the Rehearsal Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center.

New Generation Theatrical has extended the deadline for play submissions for the inaugural Be Original Theater Festival at the Dr. Phillips Center. Submissions will now be accepted through August 7, 2019.

New Generation Theatrical presents the inaugural Be Original Theater Festival at the Dr. Phillips Center October 4 - 6, 2019. This brand new festival will feature table readings and staged readings of 16 new, original plays by Central Florida playwrights. Play submissions are being accepted through August 1, 2019.

Orlando production company Generation Productions and theater production services company Atomic No. 6 will expand upon their newly developed local reading series, presenting a new play reading each month.

The Foreplay, a comedic play by Michael Knight, will be presented by Something Clever Productions, in association with Generation Productions (Heathers, First Date, Hand To God), at The Venue in Orlando, Florida on June 30th and July 1st, 2018.
