Billed as a 'cabaret sensation', Seth Sikes shows a full house of 54 Below patrons why, exactly, he is.

HE PLAYS THE VIOLIN stars Edmund Bagnell, 1st violinist and vocalist of the internationally acclaimed string quartet Well-Strung. Through stories and song, the evening celebrates all things music: from classical to standards, pop to broadway—and of course, with a good dose of fiddle thrown in.

But for all the goody-two-shoes exterior, there’s a devilish glint behind the eyes that hints at something darker. He only lets it out once in a while, but it’s exciting when he does. Sikes is known for his shows honoring Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. He brings much of their full-throated, show-biz savvy his own performance style.

Seth Sikes will perform Seth Sikes Sings the '20s! at Feinstein's/54 Below on Tuesday, April 7 at 7:00PM. The new show will celebrate songs made famous nearly a hundred years ago. Sikes debuted this program on New Year's Eve and will be performing it for the first time since then.

Edmund Bagnell, 1st Violinist & vocalist of the internationally acclaimed group Well-Strung, will star in the New Orleans premiere of He Plays The Violin at Cafe Istanbul in New Orleans on April 10 at 8 PM. The show was developed by New Works Provincetown at The Art House this fall and includes a brand new song written for Mr. Bagnell by Scott Frankel (Grey Gardens & War Paint).
