The Abbey Theatre Co-Directors, Artistic Director Caitríona McLaughlin, and Executive Director Mark O'Brien have announced details of a new body of work to mark 120 years since the co-founding of Ireland's national theatre by Lady Gregory and WB Yeats.

Douglas Smith (Big Little Lies, Don’t Worry Darling), Mark O’Brien (Perry Mason, Arrival), Rebecca Liddiard (Alias Grace, Run This Town) and Vinessa Antoine (Diggstown, Ginny & Georgia) have been cast opposite Amanda Seyfried (The Dropout, Mank, Les Misérables) in SEVEN VEILS, a new feature film from acclaimed filmmaker Atom Egoya.

The Abbey Theatre has announced that Rob Furey has been appointed to the role of Technical Director, joining the Senior Management Team. Rob will lead the Technical Department, including Production, Stage Management, Costume, Props, Stage Tech, Light and Sound.

AMC's upcoming original drama series 61st Street is set for an April 10th premiere. The two-season event from BAFTA-winner Peter Moffat is a raw, thrilling drama series about a promising Chicago high school athlete wrongfully swept up into the criminal justice system. 61st Street will debut Sunday, April 10 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC, with the first two episodes streaming on AMC+ and ALLBLK. New episodes of the eight-episode first season will roll out weekly, on Sundays, and will be available one week early on AMC+ and ALLBLK.

This first feature from director-actor-writer Mark O’Brien (AMC’s '61st Street', Blue Bayou, Ready or Not) is a dark chiller about a burdened man who feels the wrath of a vengeful God. The film stars O'Brien, Henry Czerny (Ready or Not, Mission Impossible, 'Revenge') and Mimi Kuzyk (The Day After Tomorrow, The Final Cut, 'Shadowhunters').

In addition to Fontana, CITY ON A HILL is executive produced by Jennifer Todd, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jorge Zamacona, Barry Levinson, Chuck MacLean and Michael Cuesta. Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge and Michele Giordano serve as co-executive producers.

Birmingham Contemporary Music Group presents a filmed concert of works by British and Chinese composers performed by BCMG musicians Mark O'Brien (clarinet/bass clarinet), John Reid (piano), Colette Overdijk (violin) and Ulrich Heinen (cello). Recorded at BCMG's home venue, CBSO Centre in Birmingham, the film will be released at 4pm on Sunday 28 February with tickets costing £10.

SHOWTIME will premiere the second season of its one-hour drama series CITY ON A HILL, starring Golden Globe winner and Emmy® nominee Kevin Bacon and Screen Actors Guild® award winner Aldis Hodge, on Sunday, March 28 at 10 p.m.

CITY ON A HILL is coming back for a second season! The series currently airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. Set in early '90s Boston, where racism is endemic and crime is widespread, the series follows an unlikely alliance between FBI agent Jackie Rohr (Kevin Bacon) and Assistant District Attorney Decourcy Ward (Aldis Hodge).
