John McGowan is a Canadian-born performer currently residing in New York City. After completing his degree with honors in Dramatic Arts at Brock University, he attended an audition in Toronto for The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where he was accepted into the NYC Musical Theatre Program with three scholarships. Due to his progress at AMDA he now works within the US, taking roles in various productions around the city.
