True to its original form, the zarzuela, 'Mula Sa Buwan,' whose original title 'Cyrano: Isang Sarswela,' fuses songs, dances, romance, and revolutionary overtones, which, in essence, is immensely faithful to its main inspiration, Edmond Rostand’s 1897 French play Cyrano de Bergerac, more specifically its 1955 Filipino adaptation by Soc Rodrigo--but this time set during the Japanese Occupation of the Philippines.

Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's Artistic Director, Bobby Garcia (Angels in America, Sweeney Todd), is set to take on the international premiere of The Band's Visit, the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway musical that has become one of the most awarded musicals in theater history.

Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group is thrilled to announce its full cast and creatives for SWEENEY TODD, its final musical offering for its 20th-anniversary season. It was previously announced that Tony and Olivier Award winner Lea Salonga and rock icon Jett Pangan would lead the cast as Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd, respectively. They will be joined by Ima Castro as the Beggar Woman, Andrew Fernando as Judge Turpin, Gerald Santos as Anthony Hope, and Nyoy Volante as Adolfo Pirelli.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group, the esteemed theater company has also launched a new division: the Atlantis Imaginarium Young Theatre (AIYT), which aims to produce live entertainment primarily targeting families with young kids.

The show, based on the hit Dreamworks animated feature film of the same name will open on August 2, 2019, at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
