Created and executive produced by Emmy® winner Lena Waithe (Twenties, Boomerang) and executive produced by Academy Award® and Emmy winner Common (Selma), THE CHI is a timely coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago.

Directed by PhillyFlyBoy (The Game, T.I., Kevin Gates, Jacob Latimore), the video for “Losing You” transports viewers to a vast desert as Matt B searches for his love, but finds himself surrounded by a mirage of what once was. A re-release of his 2018 single produced by songwriter/producer Bryan-Michael Cox (Usher, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige).

The full-list of nominees for the 52nd NAACP Image Awards were announced today in a special virtual event on NAACP Image Awards’ Instagram channel hosted by Tony-award winning actress and singer Anika Noni-Rose, actress and singer Chloe Bailey, actress Erika Alexander, actor, dancer, and choreographer Nicco Annan, and actor and singer TC Carson.

Today the NAACP announced that the 52nd NAACP Image Awards will broadcast live on BET Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 8:00 PM ET.
