Diamond Essence White Biography
Diamond found her love for theatre at the ripe age of 6, when she got to star in Annie, as Annie. From that moment she knew that performing was not just a passion of hers, it was a necessity, and her whole family knew it too, being that she was always giving a full concert of show tunes around the house. She saw that necessity come into fruition when she made her Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen on May 25, 2018As a native New Yorker, Diamond has been exposed to the arts for her entire life and was born into a musically gifted family that instilled the love of music and singing into her life. Her grandmother trained her to "sing with feeling" and to always "go for the gusto" and never give anything less than her best performance, which is something that Diamond has carried with her for her entire life. After being enrolled in many acting classes and being in many productions as a child, Diamond has found that the stage has been the avenue for her to express herself and she has been extremely blessed with a strong support team that has continued to invest in her and push her towards greatness. Diamond has been singing for all of her life and continues to "go for the gusto"; her love for performing grows deeper daily. She chooses to honor her grandmother's memory by striving for excellence and choosing to reach every goal that she has set for herself!
