TDF Launches Third Season of the TDF Veterans Theatregoing Program

Last night, TDF, the not-for-profit service organization dedicated to bringing the power of the performing arts to everyone, launched the third season of its TDF Veterans Theatregoing Program. TDF partners exclusively with veteran group organizations in the city who distribute a limited number of tickets to Broadway shows at no cost to their constituents. Post-performance talkbacks are planned, when possible, and complimentary TDF Memberships are provided to participating veterans so they can continue their theatregoing at greatly reduced costs.

Centenary Stage Company's National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of Jennifer Fawcett's "Apples in Winter" heads into its final weekend of performances. Performances run Wednesday, November 14 at 2PM; Thursday, November 15 at 7:30PM; Friday, November 16 at 8PM; Saturday, November 17 at 8PM and Sunday, November 18 at 2PM. Guest speakers will join the cast and creative team to participate in a post-show talkback with the audience on Thursday, November 15 after the 7:30PM performance.

Lawrence Sacharow, Obie Award-Winning Director Dies

Lawrence J. Sacharow, director of the theatre program at Fordham College at Lincoln Center, and Obie Award-winning director of Len Jenkin's 'Five of Us,' died Monday, August 14, at New York Hospital, of complications from leukemia. He was 68.
