The Friends of Square One Theatre, in conjunction with the Stratford Library, will continue the 17th season of its popular three-part series, “Play It Again, Square One,” on Monday, November 28 beginning at 12noon.

Stratford's Square One Theatre Company, which had been closed since March 2020, due to the pandemic, reopened on Thursday, November 3 and this weekend will complete its final performances of The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney.

Eastbound Theatre, a division of the Milford Arts Council has announced the first show of its 29th season, The Realistic Joneses by Will Eno. Directed by CJ Nolan, the production opens at The MAC on September 23rd and runs weekends through October 9th.

New Works in Repertory, Spring 2022, will feature three engaging works by playwrights, Kate Gill and Carol Berman.

It would be nice if all theatres were coming back with a roar, but the pandemic is still hurting theatre companies and audiences. But horses have to run, writers have to write, and performers have to perform. To make the best of the current situation, the Westport Community Theatre is presenting a one-night cabaret on Thursday, October 21 at 7:30 and will feature various local talent.

Square One Theatre Company offers a glimpse into the lives of the upper middle-class with A.R. Gurney's THE DINING ROOM

A.R. Gurney's classic play, a finalist for the 1985 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, takes place in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household. The Dining Room is a remarkable play of days long gone.

The Tale of the Allergist's Wife enters its second weekend! The production features Deborah Burke, Andrea Garmun, Randye Kaye, Cody Knox and Jeff Pliskin. Performances run from November 29th through December 15th, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, with a Thursday performance on December 5th at 8:00 p.m. Frederic Tisch directs the play, which is produced by David Victor.

Westport Community Theatre is proud to announce their production of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, a comedy by Charles Busch, with Deborah Burke, Andrea Garmun, Randye Kaye, Cody Knox and Jeff Pliskin cast in the production. Performances take place from November 29th through December 15th, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, with a Thursday performance on December 5th at 8:00 p.m. Frederic Tisch directs the play, which is produced by David Victor.

F. Scott Fitzgerald In Westport this spring celebrates two of the town's famous former residents, Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, who lived in Westport for a time as newlyweds. The Westport Historical Society joined with Harbor Watch to present a lecture and walking tour of Fitzgerald's Westport and a 'tastefully risque' evening, 'Gatsby's Return,' at The Inn at Longshore on April 27. On May 18 and 19, Westport Community Theater will offer staged readings of The Vegetable, Fitzgerald's only produced play, as a continuation of the festivities.

Suncoast Showroom will bring highly-acclaimed performers to the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in March, including "David Victor Formerly of Boston," "December 63: Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons," "4NR - Tribute to Foreigner" and The Osmond Brothers. Guests can also enjoy free dance parties and live entertainment throughout the month.
