Dani Apple Biography
Dani Apple (she/her/hers) was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After getting in trouble in kindergarten for belting along to the Celine Dion CD the teacher played during nap time when the other kids were trying to sleep, Dani's parents knew they had to sign her up to audition for The Sound of Music at Cain Park. Dani was cast as Gretyl, and after the very first rehearsal, Dani knew she'd be in love with theatre for the rest of her life!Dani is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, having received her BFA in Musical Theatre with an emphasis in songwriting. Some of her favorite credits include: Off-Broadway: Meydl in THE SORCERESS (NYTF). Staged Readings: Julia in ZM (Goodspeed Opera House) and June in OVER HERE! (Traguna Productions). Regional: Ellie in FREAKY FRIDAY (Virginia Musical Theatre), Oz in WE WILL ROCK YOU (The Barn Theatre), Chava in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (The Beck Center), and Natalie in ALL SHOOK UP (Mercury Theatre Company).
This little Apple is now living in the Big Apple! She is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and a BroadwayWorld 2020 Cabaret Awards Best Vocalist nominee. She continues pursuing her dream of reaching people by creating and performing stories to share.
