BIO

Broadway: Slave Play

Juilliard: Stick Fly, African Company Presents Richard III, The Line, Juilius Caesar, Cymbeline, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Three Sisters, Gint, Bus Stop, and La Cocina by Tony Meneses.

Off Broadway: The Glory of the World by Chuck Mee (BAM), Play On! Shakespeare (Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Classic Stage Company).

Regional: That High Lonesome Sound by Jeff Augustin, Diana Grisanti, Cory Hinkle, and Charise Castro Smith (Actors Theatre of Louisville), White Rabbit/Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour, and 'Cause I Know You Got Soul by Zayd Dohrn (Chicago Home Theater Festival), Reluctant to Burn by Korde Tuttle (New School), Partners by Dorothy Fortenberry (LiveWire Theatre), Othello (Suitcase Shakespeare).

Workshops: Thoughts of A Colored Man directed by Taye Diggs, Fire Island by Korde Tuttle (NYTW), Demons by Keelay Gipson (NYSAF).

TV: The Good Fight (CBS), The Blacklist (NBC).

Training: The Juilliard School (Group 51), Bob Krakowower, HB Studio, School at Steppenwolf, Actors Theatre of Louisville Apprenticeship.

Previously, Blake was a company member with dance theater director Erica Mott as well as performance artists Mark Jeffery and Judd Morrissey.

Also, Blake was the creator of a free weekly wellness workshop series at Juilliard called Self Care Saturdays, an associate producer of an emerging Black student actor organization called HomeBase Theatre Collective, and a co-founder of The Chicago Home Theater Festival, a yearly city-wide month-long performance festival aimed at activating the arts and the community.
