Registration has begun at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre for its 2023 Summer Theatre Camp which will begin on July 17th.

For the spring, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will be bringing a hilarious little musical to the stage that it has been looking at bringing to Frederick for some time now. 

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre’s 2023 Season – theatre’s 29th of bringing live Broadway-style entertainment to the Mid-Maryland region – will kick off in January with the classic musical that brings the Arthurian legend to life on the stage, Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot.  

Christmas is always the busiest time of the year at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre.  In addition to the theatre's Mainstage Christmas production, it offers several special events for the holiday season. 

Since the theatre first opened its doors in 1996, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has become known for bringing both classic musicals, as well as area and regional premieres  to the stage. 

Registration has begun at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre for its 2022 Summer Theatre Camp which will begin on July 11th.

It has been a long time coming, but this spring The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will welcome the musical Hello, Dolly! to its stage. 

Following a tumultuous year and a half for the theatre industry due to the worldwide Covid-19 Pandemic, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing to open its new 2022 Season in January with one of the installments of Dan Goggin's hilarious Nunsense Series. 

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, once again, has a full line-up of entertainment for the holiday season.  Along with its Mainstage production of That Christmas Spirit, Way Off Broadway's Family Theatre will be presenting its stage adaptation 'Twas the Night Before for a limited holiday run beginning with a special evening performance on Friday, December 3rd. 

Following the tumult of the last year and a half, and schedules which have been forced to change numerous times due to the Pandemic, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing to look to the future with the announcement of its 2022 Season.

For summer of 2021 The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will present the most anticipated show of the 2020 Season!  

As The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's production of Ruthless! The Musical takes to the stage this spring, the show reunites its leading “ladies” for a second go-round in their roles as Judy Denmark and Sylvia St. Croix. 

Coming this spring, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will lovely skewer musical theatre, stage mothers, and ambitious child stars in its production of Ruthless! The Musical.  As previously announced by the theatre's producers, due to current health and safety protocols in place limiting cast sizes, Ruthless! The Musical has taken the place of Oliver!, which had originally been announced for the 2021 Season.

Way Off Broadway was scheduled to welcome the Broadway classic Oliver! back to its stage after more than 20 years, beginning in March.  However, to do so would require a cast larger than producers believed to be prudent at this time.  In its place, Way Off Broadway has announced the musical comedy Ruthless!

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, once again, has a full line-up of entertainment for the holiday season. Along with its Mainstage production of A Christmas Special Christmas Show, Way Off Broadway's Family Theatre will be presenting the stage adaptation of the classic Christmas television special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is set to celebrate the holiday season this year by paying tribute to television Christmas specials. For decades, Christmas specials have been a staple of the holiday season, bring families together to celebrate the joy of the season with some of their favorite characters and celebrities.

As Maryland moves into Phase 3 of the state's reopening following the Covid shut down, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing to resume performances this fall with the high-flying family musical adventure Disney & Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins.

Today, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre announced that its plans to resume performance with a production of Disney & Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins have been postponed indefinitely.
