When it comes to long-running shows, Birdland has cornered the market, and this week The Lineup With Susie Mosher turns five.

The 'Adopt a Sailor - 50 State Tour'-a nationwide tour of Charles Evered's acclaimed play 'Adopt a Sailor' has reached its 26th state, with twenty four to go.

All in all, my dearlings, each individual song on Born In A Trunk is a treat, but when all ten musical monologues are lined up end to end, what we have is a musical memoir.

All in all, though, for her first time being shot out of a musical cannon, performing her own show in the singer spotlight in the HUGE (and packed) City Winery, Ms. Amy Irving landed on her feet and brought a lot of joy to the assembled parties.

Recorded live as part of the Jazz at Lincoln Center series, the album is a triumph that showcases two great artists speaking with one voice.

Tiger Turn has announced the release of Transformation: Personal Stories of Change, Acceptance, and Evolution, a recording of reedist Ted Nash and Glenn Close's star-studded, multidisciplinary masterwork featuring Wayne Brady, Amy Irving, Matthew Stevenson, Eli Nash, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.

Amanda Seyfried will receive the Montecito Award at the 36th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
