Ahead of tonight's opening of the magical Cinderella, Nottingham Playhouse has announced that next year's pantomime will reach new heights with a giant of a show - Jack and the Beanstalk.

No stranger to reinterpreting classic works, Mark Gattis’ (Sherlock, Dracula, Dr Who) 2021 production returns to haunt the Alexandra Palace this festive season.

Ambassador Theatre Group Productions and Nottingham Playhouse have announced a new production of the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning Best Musical DEAR EVAN HANSEN. Nottingham Playhouse has announced the complete cast for their eagerly awaited 2022 pantomime, Dick Whittington.

The Nottingham Playhouse production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story, adapted by Mark Gatiss and directed by Adam Penford, is being released in cinemas nationwide on 27 November and 1 December.

The winner of the 2022 RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award is Stephen Bailey, with Beth Shouler as the runner-up.
