We are honored to participate in the education of young adults through Abingdon's Internship Program. Student interns who are seeking to develop professional skills in the not-for-profit arts community receive supervision in their area of interest through hands-on experience, one-on-one instruction, and by shadowing professionals, thus improving their chances for job placement.

Interns also work on substantial independent projects, which build confidence and administrative skills as well as their resumes. Those interested in cross-training serve as Abingdon's house and stage managers, technical and directing assistants, costume designers and actors in many of our New Play Development Programs.

This season, Literary Intern Dennis Corsi (Michigan State) edited video footage of Fix Me, Jesus and Hellman v. McCarthy, enhancing our marketing campaigns. He also performed in several Benefit Challenge Series and Page2Stage Readings. Development Intern Elisabeth Rogge (Ohio State) is currently mastering DonorPro and serving as Associate Producer for our S.W.A.N. Day reading of new plays by women artists in late June.
