Dialogue with Three Chords Present Three New Plays, 3/27

Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) presents new works that find characters at the start of the Great Depression, at the end of WWII, and sometime between the Easter Offensive and the Paris Peace Talks. The three brand new works revisit characters introduced in previous D3C performances, but also function as stand-alone pieces. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto these plays are a continuation 'Shipyard Souls & A Compass Rose," a full-length play presented in installments which began last August. The serialized works are presented as part of their residency at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street in Greenwich Village. The performance begins at 8pm on Thursday, March 27. Admission is free, with a $3 suggested donation.

Best known for writing and playing his on-stage and television alter egos Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson, he is also a respected film producer and script writer, a star of London's West End musical theatre, an award-winning writer and an accomplished landscape painter.
