Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) presents new works that find characters at the start of the Great Depression, at the end of WWII, and sometime between the Easter Offensive and the Paris Peace Talks. The three brand new works revisit characters introduced in previous D3C performances, but also function as stand-alone pieces. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto these plays are a continuation 'Shipyard Souls & A Compass Rose," a full-length play presented in installments which began last August. The serialized works are presented as part of their residency at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street in Greenwich Village. The performance begins at 8pm on Thursday, March 27. Admission is free, with a $3 suggested donation.
In 2013, Leigh Ann Larkin and Shayne Kennon starred in the Atlanta production of Harmony. Today, March 4, they will get to reprise their roles at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in LA.
Today, March 4, Matt Harrington joins the cast of Matilda. He will be playing the role of Mr. Wormwood, Matilda's father, and replacing Gabriel Ebert. Harrington recently appeared in Broadway's Twelfth Night and Richard III, which transferred from the Shakespeare's Globe in 2013.
USA Today announced that Olivia Newton-John will be headlining in Las Vegas. Starting April 8, she will be performing at The Flamingo in The Donny & Marie Showroom. The actress and singer will be performing a grand total of 45 shows.
