New Hampshire Theatre Project's Junior Youth Repertory Company, under the direction of Meghann Beauchamp, will present Buckets of Butterflies: Stories of Hope from the Past & Future on April 9-11 at 959 Islington Street in Portsmouth. A collection of stories takes us from ancient Greece to WWII era France; from the world of swashbuckling pirates to an imaginary future where a young boy finds himself one of the only survivors on earth. These diverse tales teach us all how to find hope and strength in times of great difficulty.
This production will include lighting and set designs by Senior Repertory Company Intern Cairns Smith of Cocheco Arts and Technology Academy in collaboration with Beauchamp.Performances are Friday, April 9 at 7pm & Saturday, April 10 at 11am, 2pm and 7 pm and Sunday, April 11 at 11am and 2pm. All seats are $8 or $25 for family of 4 and reservations are highly suggested. Buckets of Butterflies is recommended for ages 6 and up.
