MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce The B-52s live in concert, at Sound Board on Thursday, September 23 at 8:00pm.
The B-52s are a new wave, post-punk and pop rock band formed in 1976. The group's unique "guy vs. gals" vocals, sometimes used in call and response style, are a trademark of the band. A positive, enthusiastic, slightly wacky party band, the B-52s have focused on songs telling tall tales or celebrating wild romance, all set to a danceable new wave beat. Over the years, they have appeared on many television shows and have made numerous appearances on VH1.Tickets ($45.00, $37.00 and $32.00) go on sale June 1 at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com.
