MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce The Pointer Sisters, at Sound Board on Thursday, October 28 at 8:00 p.m.
The Pointer Sisters achieved mainstream success during the 1970's and 1980's. Their repertoire includes pop, disco, jazz, bebop, blues, soul, funk, dance, and rock. The sisters received two Grammy Awards, achieved four Billboard Hot 100 top 10 singles in a row, were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, won two American Music Awards, and were one of the featured acts at the closing ceremonies of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.Tickets ($39.00 and $35.00) are on sale now at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com.
