Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at Miami Dade College (MDC) presents Dora García: Rezos/Prayers Miami, an innovative audio installation that focuses the Spanish artist's performative practice onto a day in the life of Miami. Commissioned by MOAD, Rezos/Prayers Miami makes personal and specific experiences into collective and universal invocations. Dora García: Rezos/Prayers Miami will be on view from April 23 through Sept. 27. The audio project will also be accessible online at MOAD's website http://www.mdcmoad.org/.
New World Symphony Will Welcome IDAGIO as Official Audio Streaming Partner

New World Symphony President & CEO Howard Herring today announced that IDAGIO, the first global streaming service for classical music, is now The Official Audio Streaming Partner of the New World Symphony. As part of this partnership, IDAGIO will regularly feature new NWS concert recordings, including performances led by NWS Co-Founder and Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT), as well as additional content including playlists curated by NWS, and artist profiles featuring music by individual Fellows. NWS, its Fellows, and its patrons will also receive special discounts on IDAGIO subscriptions. More than 200 of Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County's dedicated community leaders and philanthropists gathered for a festive evening at the Celebrating Philanthropy Dinner and reception on February 10, 2020 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The featured speaker was Michael Solomonov, a James Beard Award-Winning Chef, and the evening honored the vision and leadership of dedicated community leader and philanthropist Judith A. Levy. The event was chaired by Hope and Gene Silverman; Rita and Charles Bronfman served as Honorary Chairs.

This popular contest was open to students in grades 9-12 throughout Palm Beach County, and the winners were chosen by a group of theatre professionals. Macy's and Kids' Dreams are the sponsors of the contest.
