???????Souvenir, A Fantasia Based on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins, is about a wealthy eccentric, self-promoted performer who was incapable of producing two notes in tune consecutively. This comic turn on a real life eccentric makes its triumphant return to Theatre Memphis in the Next Stage, February 9-25, 2018.  Hilarious and poignant, her story of celebrity and terrible singing is told through her respected accompanist, Cosme McMoon, whose contempt gives way to reluctant admiration and affection. Returning to the two roles are Jude Knight and David Shipley, both of whom performed in the original Theatre Memphis production. (more...)

The next three months hold debut performances for Keitaro Harada with four symphonies. February 1 and 2, Harada will step in for Berkeley Symphony's Music Director Joanna Carneiro as she awaits the birth of her fourth child. The program includes Faur 's Cantique de Jean Racine, Gordon Getty's Joan and the Bells and Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. He, then, heads to Memphis Symphony to conduct E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Live in Concert followed by a quick trip to Japan for a return to Suntory Hall to conduct The Music of John Williams: Star Wars and Beyond with Tokyo Philharmonic. March holds his debuts with Fort Worth Symphony leading Disney's Fantasia: Live in Concert as well as with Louisville Orchestra leading Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. He returns to Fort Worth in May for Raiders of the Lost Ark in Concert. (more...)

Elvis Presley's Graceland was voted #1 Best Attraction in Tennessee in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, it was announced today by 10Best.com. Graceland was voted into the top spot by the general public and readers of USA Today's popular 10Best online travel site, who were asked to cast their online ballot for their favorite attraction from a pool of 20 state attractions nominated by a panel of esteemed Tennessee travel writers and photographers. Voting began on December 18, 2017 and ran through noon on January 15, 2018. (more...)

Elvis Presley's Graceland has announced its first-ever Performing Arts Camp an immersive theater arts and music experience for kids and teens, ages 6 to 15, and their families, July 18 through 22, 2018. Working closely with the Presley family to develop the program and curriculum, the Graceland team has created a unique and fun experience for attendees, all of whom will learn acting, music and dance techniques alongside new friends from around the world.
