Hackmatack Hosts Open Auditions 3/6 For 38th Season

Call for actors, singers, and dancers! Auditions have been scheduled for the 38th season at Hackmatack Playhouse (Route 9, Berwick, Maine). Auditions are scheduled at Berwick Town Hall on March 6 with possible callbacks on March 7. Men should plan to arrive at 8:30am; women at 9:00am. Actors should be familiar with the Hackmatack's 2010 musicals: Carousel, Cinderella, Leading Ladies, and Hello Dolly. The only items necessary are water, headshot, resume, and patience. No other preparation is necessary, although you might allow time to spend most of the day on the 6th. (Note that the role of Dolly Levi in "Hello Dolly" has been cast.) The 2010 summer Hackmatack Playhouse schedule includes Cinderella (June 24 through July 10), Leading Ladies (July 14 through July 24), Carousel (July 28 through August 14) and Hello, Dolly (August 18 through the 28th). A pre-season production of Smokey Joes Cafe will be presented June 18 and 19.
