Segerstrom Center for the Arts and STOMP present a live performance for deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) children as well as hearing children at Taft Elementary. Students from third through sixth grade classes will assemble in the school's outdoor performance area and share in this exciting experience as STOMPers use this opportunity to showcase how vibrations create sound waves. As some deaf or hard of hearing students may not be able to hear all the sounds being created, they can feel the vibrations and rhythm. Following the performance, there will be a Q&A session with cast members from STOMP.

For the past seven years, Taft Elementary and Segerstrom Center have been in partnership to introduce students to music, dance, theatre and the visual arts.

Taft Elementary DHH Program is a regionalized program serving students from birth to sixth grade from Santa Ana as well as eight districts in central Orange County.

When: Thursday, October 11; 1:00-2:15 p.m.

Where: Taft Elementary, 500 Keller Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92707. Tel: (714) 431-7700
