Ta'Nika Renée Gibson Hailed by the Boston Globe for "her clear and ringing voice," Ta'Nika Gibson is a gifted actor, singer, and voiceover artist in NYC. A graduate of New York University, she was recently seen playing the title role of "Laurey Williams" in the all African-American production of Oklahoma! at Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Ta'Nika made her Broadway debut this year, performing alongside Christian Borle and Laura Michelle Kelly in "Me and My Girl" at City Center: Encores! She also made her film debut in the Feature Film "The Goldfinch" starring Nicole Kidman and Ansel Elgort (in theaters Oct. 2019), and her television debut in season 2 of Marvel's "Iron Fist" on Netflix. Ta'Nika was honored to be a featured soloist at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall this season. She has portrayed such roles as "Lorrell Robinson" in the hit production of Dreamgirls at Theatre Under The Stars, in Houston TX; Lady Thiang in The King and I at The Weathervane Theatre, which earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the New Hampshire Theatre Awards. That same year, Ta'Nika premiered as a guest artist representing the United States at the Beijing International Film Festival/Tiantan Movie Awards in Beijing, China. Ta'Nika loves giving back and volunteers with Broadway's Babies, House of the Roses, and ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty).
