Split was created through the serendipitous meeting of award-winning chef and cycling enthusiast Jeff Mahin, restauranteur and business partner Christopher Meers, and elite performance nutritionist Dr. Philip Goglia. While spending years in the kitchen under the mantra that taste trumps nutrition, Mahin's health suffered as he juggled multiple restaurants and long hours.
