Union Street in Pittsfield MA had all the excitement of a Broadway Opening as the Tony Award Winning Ragtime opened on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage of Barrington Stage Co. and Broadway and lyricist Lynn Ahrens were there.

A rising choreographic star, Assaf has been commissioned by companies across the globe including Batsheva Dance Company, The Royal Swedish Ballet, National Dance Company Wales, and LA Dance Project. The program opens with Assaf's embracing duet Six Years Later which is praised for its "beauty, nuances, and intricate, astute movements" (Ora Brafman, Jerusalem Post), and closes with his powerful all-male trio The Hill, inspired by veterans' experiences and based on the Hebrew song "Givat Hatachmoshet".

Disney's The Little Mermaid music is by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, with book by Doug Wright. Dance Teachers Learn Injury Prevention at Marblehead School of Ballet

Roberts and Melissa Desrosiers and director Ann Davison from The Bedford Youth Performing Company in Bedford, New Hampshire visited the Marblehead School of Ballet and attended a customized workshop presenting in-depth lessons on injury prevention techniques using proper alignment and core strength for dancers.
