HGTV’s Houses with History, a renovation series that offers viewers a fresh look at the fascinating backstories of America’s oldest homes, will return this Wednesday, May 31st on HGTV. The series features home preservationist and history buff Mike Lemieux, designer Jen MacDonald, and carpenter Rich Soares as they team up.

Produced by Thomas Kail, who directed the Broadway smash “Hamilton” and produced and directed the 2020 film version, and Kate Sullivan, the film reunites Kail and Ambudkar who first collaborated as director and performer, respectively, of the improvisational hip-hop comedy musical group Freestyle Love Supreme. Donkin has also released the single “Something Different,” a buoyant dance floor-ready song about change that pairs his honeyed vocals with flourishes of ‘70s and ‘80s touchstones like Earth, Wind & Fire and Prince. The album will be released on August 25 via drink sum wtr, a new label formed by A&R Nigil Mack, in partnership with Secretly Group.

Rising L.A. musician and filmmaker Bennett Coast unveils a new song, “Bender.'. Coast wrote, produced and recorded the song, out via Pizzaslime Records / Mad Decent. The track involved help from engineer Alberto Lopez (for vocals) and was mastered by Grammy winner Robert Carranza.
