Arts for Art announces the schedule for the 2010 Vision Festival, one of the largest avant-garde Jazz festivals in the world. From June 20 to the 30th, the Vision Festival continues its summer tradition and this year has added more events to the create a wider variety for the masses. The Festival starts on the 20th with Poetry & Music at Tribes (285 East 3rd St., 2nd Floor) from 2 to 5 pm. Tickets are $5. In the afternoon of the 21st, there will be a free outdoor concert at Campos Plaza (13 Street between Ave. A & Ave. B)with William Parker's LIttle Huey Sextet at 5 pm and Roy Campbell Trio at 6 pm. Starting at 7:30 pm, there will be a variety of musicans at The Local 269 (269 E. Houston St. & Suffolk). Tickets range between $7 and $20.

On Tuesday the 22nd, there will be jazz funk at Drom (85 Avenue A between B & C). Tickets are $20 at the door only. The Vision for Vision Benefit Concert will be on the 23rd at the Abrons Arts Center (466 Grand Street). The event will have starting at 7 pm. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $30 for adults and $25 for students and seniors.

From the 24th to the 29th, there will be additional innovative music, dance, and art at the Abrons Arts Center, including works from emerging artists. Tickets are $25 a night for adults and $20 a night for students, seniors and members at the door only. There is a 7 day pass available for all shows at the Abrons for $150. The Closing Party will be on the 30th at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker St.), starting at 8 pm. Tickets are $22 in advance, $25 for adults at the door, and $20 for all students and seniors.
