Anderson Rotary Club Hosts Fundraiser, 11/13August 26, 2010The Anderson Rotary Club will hold a fundraiser on November 13 at the Electric City Playhouse. At the the 'Child's Play' Fundraiser, local celebrities, characters and entertainers will read or perform their favorite children's books and songs to an all adult audience. Wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres will be on hand to help loosen any reserved adult sensibilities that still remain. The evening is sure to allow the mischievous side to enjoy some of the most playful literature ever conceived without the judging eyes of children. Guaranteed to be entertaining and different, this fundraiser will help to support the club's youth literacy efforts and help promote awareness of the importance of childhood literacy in our community.
