Sunday Comedy Nights are back at the Lyric. Following the September Comedy Night featuring Al Murray and Alistair McGowan, Richard Herring returns with yet another fantastic line-up on October 25th, featuring Stephen Merchant with guest Tim Key.

As co-creator, co-writer and co-director of The Office and Extras with comedy partner Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant has won numerous awards, including three BAFTAS and four British Comedy Awards. The Office was the first UK sitcom ever to win a Golden Globe award, and Merchant also won an Emmy as Executive Producer of the US version of The Office. Merchant's film credits include Hot Fuzz, and Run Fat Boy Run.

This summer, Tim Key won the 2009 Edinburgh Comedy Award for his second solo poetry show The Slutcracker. In Edinburgh he additionally starred in a comic play Party, written by Tom Basden. He also featured in Mark Watson's final 24 hour show. Outside of his Edinburgh success this year Key has co-created We Need Answers, a panel show pitting two celebs against each other, for BBC Four and he appeared on the spin-off television series Charlie Brooker's Newswipe, reading poems in a section named The Topical Poetry of Tim Key.

The night of comedy will take place Sunday, October 25th at the Lyric Hammersmith at 8pm. Only ages 16 and older will be permitted. For more information, visit www.lyric.co.uk.
