(2014 Un-Original Cast Album) which is produced by Grammy Award winner Hugh Fordin, and is available in stores and online today, July 22nd. To kick off the CD release, Barnes & Noble (150 East 86 Street) will host an in-store appearance and performance from 4pm - 6pm. This CD marks Forbidden Broadway's 12th cast recording with DRG Records. Featured on the album are cast members Carter Calvert, Scott Richard Foster, Mia Gentile and Marcus Stevens, with David Caldwell on piano. (more...)

This popular European opera, rarely seen in the United States, will be fully staged and costumed and presented at the Tsai Performance Center, Boston University for three performances only, July 24, 26 and 28. The outdoor stage has been built, bleachers are being set and tents and concession stands will soon pop up in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park as Water Works Theatre Company prepares for the 13th annual Shakespeare in the Park, August 1-11. Michigan's biggest and best outdoor professional theatre event will feature two weeks of theatrical fun in the heart of Royal Oak. Tickets ($8-$20) are on sale now for The Merry Wives of Windsor and Much Ado About Nothing and can be purchased online at www.waterworkstheatre.com. Director Antonio Ocampo-Guzman makes his BMO debut and nationally acclaimed conductor Susan Davenny Wyner will lead the BMO orchestra.
