Jan Versweyveld is a scenographer and lighting designer. He trained at the Sint-Lucas Institute in Brussels and at the Royal Academy in Antwerp, Belgium.

These nominations include Best Lighting Design of a Play at the Tony Awards for "Network" and "Arthur Miller's The Crucible," Best Scenic Design of a Play at the Tony Awards for "Network" and "Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge," White Light Award for Best Lighting Design at the Olivier Awards for "Network," Best Lighting Design at the Olivier Awards for "A View From The Bridge," Best Set Design at the Olivier Awards for "A View From The Bridge," Special Citation at the New York Drama Critics Circle Awards, Outstanding Scenic Design at The Lortels for "Scenes from a Marriage" and "The Little Foxes," and Set Design at the Obie Awards for "Hedda Gabler."
Jan Versweyveld has won several awards for his outstanding work in the Broadway industry. He received a Special Citation from the New York Drama Critics Circle Awards for his contributions to Scenes from a Marriage. Additionally, he was recognized for Outstanding Scenic Design at The Lortels for the same production. Jan Versweyveld also won the Set Design category at the Obie Awards for his work on Hedda Gabler.
