VIDEO: NY1 Goes Behind the Scenes of NETWORK with Bryan Cranston
On this week's episode of Spectrum News NY1's On Stage, host Frank DiLella will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Broadway smash hit "Network."
On March 16 at 7:30pm, DiLella will sit down with the star of the stage adaptation of the film, actor Bryan Cranston - who takes on the iconic "mad as hell" anchor role of Howard Beale. In addition, co-stars Tony Goldwyn and Tatiana Maslany will talk about creating the multi-media theatrical experience for New York audiences. Plus, Washington Post Opinion Writer and MSNBC Contributor Jonathan Capehart will talk about "fake news" and the relevance and timeliness of "Network" in today's media landscape.

It was recently announced that the National Theatre production of Network, produced by David Binder, the National Theatre, Patrick Myles, David Luff, Ros Povey and Lee Menzies, will extend performances through Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street). This is the second and final extension for the limited engagement. Starring Bryan Cranston (All The Way, "Breaking Bad"), Tony Goldwyn ("Scandal," Promises, Promises) and Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black," Mary Page Marlowe), Network officially opened to rave reviews on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

In Lee Hall's adaptation of Paddy Chayefsky's Academy Award-winning film, anchorman Howard Beale (Cranston) unravels live on-screen.
