The opera comes full circle at Middlebury's Town Hall Theater when the Middlebury College German for Singers and Vocal Coaches present the classic comedy in German. The adapted version will be presented Friday, August 8th, and Saturday, August 9th at 8:30 p.m.

Now he is teaming with choreographer Michael Rooney ('500 Days of Summer,' 'The Muppets') to produce an original film musical in the style and tradition of MGM's legendary Freed Unit, named for unparalleled movie musical producer Arthur Freed ('Singin' In The Rain,' 'The Bandwagon,' 'An American In Paris'). Coincidentally, and very appropriately, Michael Rooney is the son of Freed Unit icon Mickey Rooney.
