PHOTO FLASH: Bill Connington Attends Film Festival In NYC
Bill Connington, one of the stars of the comic film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE appeared at the NewFilmmakers Film Festival (www.newfilmmakers.com) at the famous Anthology Film Archives, on Manhattan's hip Lower East Side. Also in attendance were Michael L. Cooper, and Elizabeth Pojanowski. Cooper is the producer of the film ZOMBIE in which Connington starred. It won "Best Short Film (Horror)" at the Washington DC International Film Festival, and is up for 5 awards at the Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia, where it will screened on October 27th. Connington has won several awards for his acting and writing of ZOMBIE. THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE stars Connington, Juliette Bennett (www.juliettebennett.com), and Anthony Haden-Guest. It was directed by Thomas Caruso, who also directed Connington in the film ZOMBIE. The composer of the film is Deirdre Broderick. In addition to the NewFilmmakers Film Festival, THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE has screened at the Somewhat North of Boston Film Festival, The Long Island Film Festival, The Gold Coast International Film Festival, and the NYC Picture Start Film Festival so far.
