HomeSnap Delivers Client Engagement Tools for Agents; Now Available for iPad

Sawbuck (www.sawbuck.com) today announced a new version of its popular HomeSnap app, which allows consumers to find out all about any home with just a snap. The new version adds powerful new branding and client engagement tools for real estate agents within the app and is also designed for the first time for iPad. Additionally, a new aerial map feature called "Explore" enhances HomeSnap's mission to give serious and merely curious house hunters access to agent-quality information in the palm of their hands.

Through the new agent-friendly features, HomeSnap now provides a way for agents to connect with their existing clients directly through the app. When the clients of partner agents use HomeSnap, they can see and interact with their agent, and their agent only, throughout the app. Clients can express interest in any property with a single tap, requesting a tour or calling their agent directly. This is the first of many agent engagement tools HomeSnap will be offering.

"HomeSnap keeps clients engaged and helps me demonstrate my market expertise," said partner agent Sam Barbieri of RE/MAX United Real Estate. "These new HomeSnap features provide a way for me to increase visibility and give me an additional tool to connect and interact with my clients, ultimately leading to a better home buying experience."

HomeSnap is also announcing the addition of a new "Explore" feature, which lets users see an aerial view of every home in the country on an interactive map. At high levels, house hunters can see recent snaps from around the country on the map and continue to zoom in for more details. Zooming in on any neighborhood will allow them to see the estimated value or sale price of any home and tap for additional details.

"HomeSnap is all about discovery," said Sawbuck co-founder and CEO Guy Wolcott. "We started with real-world discovery, and now with the iPad and 'Explore' we've made it simple and fun to discover homes from your couch. Since agents and their clients were already our biggest power users, we made it simple for them to use HomeSnap together. And to make agents really comfortable recommending HomeSnap to their clients, we make sure those clients only see them, never any other agent."

By optimizing the app for the iPad and adding "Explore," HomeSnap is perfecting the mobile real estate experience, giving users instant access to deep information about any home, whether they're standing in front of it or at home on the couch. With more than 300,000 downloads since its launch, and over 1 million homes snapped to date, HomeSnap is also available for iPhone.
