Steve Madden and Betsey Johnson celebrate Betsey's Fall 2011 runway show with the launch of a multi-platform online, mobile and social media campaign, during New York Fashion Week. 'Catwalk to Concrete', a design philosophy developed by Madden and Johnson, makes fashion accessible and attainable for the masses, not just those sitting in the front row.
Johnson and her cavalcade of fashion will strut down the runway and into cyberspace wearing the one-of-a-kind Lizzzy-L bootie, and when the designer takes her bow, customers, fans and fashionistas alike will be able to purchase this very limited and exclusive style at Stevemadden.com and Steve Madden's mobile site. Additional colorways of the bootie and new styles will also be available on Betseyjohnson.com.
This week, a special QR code will be released to the public. Scan the code to access a dedicated Betsey Johnson page on Madden's mobile website (m.stevemadden.com/betsey), or visit Stevemadden.com to purchase the footwear featured on the catwalk. Visitors of the site will also be able to click to Betseyjohnson.com to watch live streaming footage of the show. In addition, Steve Madden mobile customers who have provided a phone number and live in top Steve Madden and Betsey Johnson markets (New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc.), will receive a text message as soon as the product goes live - giving them first dibs on the runway digs.
