Drake General Store Launches Housewares Collection

Drake General Store announces its first-ever housewares collection House Party, available on Tuesday, Sept. 16 in all retail locations, as well as online. The collection was designed by the company's in-house design team and features collaborations with various Toronto-based designers through Toronto Design Offsite.

Drake General Store is also excited to announce its continued growth with Hudson's Bay, opening 12 pop-up stores in Hudson's Bay store locations across Ontario, just in time for the holidays. Each pop-up will vary in size according to location, and will offer the Drake General Store's Holiday 2014 collection, as well as a number of other favourite items. The stores will open on Nov. 1; a full listing of locations is below.

House Party: a collection of housewares and design items for the home
House Party, Drake General Store's first-ever housewares collection, consists of more than 40 pieces, including dishware and kitchen accessories, designed by the Drake General Store design team. True to its Canadian roots, the collection features prints and motifs that encompass what has become the company's signature antique-meets-contemporary vibe. The Canadian Landscape Set ($15-$18) features iconic Canadian scenes printed onto plates, bowls, teacups and saucers. Drake General Store's emblematic logo appears on the Cross Enamelware Set ($29-$32) which includes a milk pan, a measuring cup, a serving dish and more. There are also several serving boards made with marble and wood ($54-$68), alongside a marble salt pinch pot ($28) and marble earth coasters ($42 for a set of 4).
