The Wells Fargo ArtsVibe Teen Program has announced the second annual Voices & Vibes Festival, a free event on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Woodruff Arts Center. The festival will celebrate teens who are engaged in the Atlanta artistic community by providing them with an opportunity to perform, partake in workshops, and participate in exciting activities. The Voices & Vibes Festival is produced by the Wells Fargo ArtsVibe Teen Program, with support from a collaboration by the four divisions of the Woodruff Arts Center - The ALLIANCE THEATRE, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, High Museum of Art, and Young Audiences.

The Voices & Vibes Festival gives teens the opportunity to express themselves among their peers through all forms of art, develop their artistry with the help of local and nationally acclaimed talent, and perform in front of their family, friends, and community members. The festival encourages participants to try new forms of expression, be adventurous, and interact with other teens outside of their high school and community.

Applications are now available for the "Voices" Showcase - the culminating event of the all-day festival - to be held on Saturday, May 10, at 7:00 p.m. Teens may audition in the categories of music, dance, theatre, fashion, poetry, filmmaking, and more. Auditions will be held January 11-12, 2014, at the Woodruff Arts Center. Additional registration details are available at artsvibe.com/voices/.

"ArtsVibe is just getting better and better and attracting more teens all the time," said Mike Donnelly, Atlanta region president for Wells Fargo. "Voices & Vibes will be even more amazing this time and we want as many teens involved as possible. We are so happy with our partnership with the Woodruff Arts Center on this special endeavor to enrich the lives of our young people."

With the help of leading industry artists, singers, writers, and musicians, teens will be given a platform to debut and improve their talents in a stimulating environment. "The goal of the Voices & Vibes Festival is to give teens the opportunity to share their artistic talents with the Atlanta community, and awarding the work they contribute to our cultural fabric," said Kaitlin Gress, Wells Fargo ArtsVibe Teen Program Coordinator. "We want to show teens what the Woodruff Arts Center can offer them, now and in the future."
