The River's Trembling Edge returns to the stage at the 2016 Kansas City Fringe Festival, produced by Central Standard Theatre.

When someone you love is no longer there, who will hear your stories?

In this tender and enlightening play by Denny Day, internationally acclaimed actress and Kansas City favorite, Marilyn Lynch, in a phenomenal performance, recounts the struggle of one woman's journey from sorrow to enlightenment following the devastating loss of her husband. In The River's Trembling Edge, she shares moments of her days and examines the vital insights discovered during her ritual of ongoing care. Humor, insight and sensitivity blend, bringing the audience a touching example of commitment to a loved one after death, and the necessary process we have come to know as "healing" the heart.

Most recently, Marilyn was seen in The Gin Game at Kansas City Actors Theatre. Applauded for her performances in Glorious at American Heartland Theatre; 3 Tall Women at Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, Music Man at Musical Theatre Heritage and Lend Me a Tenor at New Theatre Restaurant, Ms. Lynch also toured with Central Standard Theatre's Driving Miss Daisy in Australia and England.

The River's Trembling Edge premiered (to solid reviews) in January, 2016 at Just Off Broadway Theatre.
