Join Route 66 on August 15th at 7:30 pm  for our Monthly Reading Series for BETWEEN US By Joe Hortua, directed by the Jeff Nominated Director of Redtwist Theatre's LOBBY HERO, Keira Fromm. Featuring a cast of wonderful guest artists: Hillary Clemens Patricia Lavery Vincent Teninty and Demetrios Troy.

Carlo and Joel have been close friends since graduate school days. Now years have passed, and together with their wives, Grace and Sharyl, they're buying homes, having kids and growing up. But two nights in each other's homes reveal how far they've also grown apart. Between Us explores the ways we change, the compromises we make, and the price we pay for our life choices.

The Reading will take place Upstairs at Murphy's Irish Bistro located at 3905 N. Lincoln Ave in Chicago's Northcenter Neighborhood. Parking on the corner of Lincoln and Byron.

Suggested donation: $5 Order food and drinks in the UPSTAIRS BAR

In other Route 66 news, last month, our own Erica Weiss joined the city's movers and shakers at Chicago Magazine's Best of 2011 Awards Party, to accept the award for "Best Box Office Hit" of the year for our World Premiere of A Twist of Water.  Thanks to Chicago Magazine, and to everyone who made the show a box office hit!
