Novant Health will collaborate with Piedmont Players Theatre and the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra as the Producing Partner of Les Miserables this October. Novant Health is a leading regional healthcare system with more than 25,000 employees, 13 hospitals, 100 outpatient facilities and 350 physician practices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. The company's mission is to improve the health of communities, one person at a time. A long time supporter of the Salisbury Arts Community, Novant has previously produced PPT's Prisoner of Second Avenue and this fall's hit musical Leap of Faith.

PPT's marketing director, Josh Wainright said, "We are so excited about this truly unique production. Recently there has been a lot of conversation in the community about the need for more collaboration between arts organizations in Salisbury and we couldn't be more excited to be partnering with the Symphony on this incredible show. Without Novant Health, this collaboration would not be possible."

With more than 100 actors, musicians and choir members on stage simultaneously, the PPT/SSO production promises to be a stage sensation. With a Tony Award winning score featuring the songs "I Dreamed A Dream", "Bring Him Home", "One Day More" and "On My Own" - LES MISERABLES is the show of shows.
