Molly Ryan, Kat Edmonson & More Join Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks for Winter Variety Show, 12/19

Join The Town Hall for our second annual winter variety show as an all-star lineup of musicians, dancers and singers perform modern takes on classic holiday songs from the early twentieth century, alongside exciting collaborations in the fields of dance, storytelling and comedy. An astonishing array of artists will puckishly explore the holiday spirit of New York through improvised duets and new orchestrations of old favorites in a production that's sure to please the whole family. The concert will take place on Friday, December 19 at The Town Hall.

The evening's band-in-residence is THE NIGHTHAWKS ORCHESTRA as led by the renowned Grammy-winning VINCE GIORDANO, America's leading specialist in the swing jazz style of the 20's and 30's. Giordano and his band will be joined by special guests IRA GLASS, MONICA BILL BARNES and ANNA BASS (fresh off their sold-out series of dance and storytelling shows at Town Hall); show-biz showman BUSTER POINDEXTER; the arresting jazz violinist REGINA CARTER; blazing hot Cuban percussionist PEDRITO MARTINEZ; trumpeter/vocalist/composer BRIA SKONBERG; award-winning Argentine vocalist and songwriter SOFIA REI; manic, costumed buskers THE XYLOPHOLKS; jazz chanteuse MOLLY RYAN and singer/songwriter KAT EDMONSON.
