The cast for the final production of Mary-Arrchie's 27th season, THE BRIG, has been announced. Jeff Award winning director Jennifer Markowitz (Hellcab, Never Come Morning) returns to Mary-Arrchie to direct this revival one of The Living Theatre's most poignant pieces.

The ensemble will feature 15 actors including Chris Brickhouse, Charles Glenn, Jacob Alexander, Mark Madison, Adam Soule, Alex Seeley, Joel Reitsma, Mike Newquist, Connor McNamara, Ryan McDaniel, Nick Mikula, Eric Lindahl, Alex Levin, G. Riley Mills, and Aaron Norman.

The Brig was first staged in 1963 by The Living Theatre in New York. The Brig is a fundamentally important experimental piece based on Brown’s experience of 30 hellacious days in a military prison for Marines. This poignant staging will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen, it’s a brutal, physically engaging and relentless piece of theater that will resonate long after you leave the theatre.

THE BRIG by Kenneth H. Brown opens April 18th, 2013 and runs until May 26, 2013. Tickets available on Ticketweb.
