BWW TV: First Look at RENT at the World's Oldest Paper Mill
A new video has been released, filmed during the cast's sitzprobe, of Vivo D'Arte's immersive promenade production of Jonathan Larson's cult classic musical RENT. Staged at the world's oldest working paper mill, the production opens tonight. Watch the video below!
Connor Dyer (Parade, Frogmore Paper Mill) plays filmmaker Mark Cohen, with Aran MacRae (Bat Out of Hell, London Coliseum) as struggling musician Roger Davis. Lizzie Emery makes her professional debut as Mimi Marquez, as does Casey Bird as Maureen Johnson. Natalie Winsor (Dirty Dancing, UK Tour) plays public-interest lawyer Joanne Jefferson, with Benjamin Froehlich as computer genius Tom Collins and Andrew Rawlinson-Heath as Angel Dumott Schunard. Dom Curtis will also be making his professional debut as Benjamin Coffin III.
Directed and produced by Dan Cowtan, RENT will be staged at the Frogmore Paper Mill in Apsley, Hertfordshire from the 10th - 21st July. RENT will be a return to the mill for Vivo D'Arte after the company's five-star production of Jason Robert Brown's 'Parade'.
