Carrollwood Cultural Center's Broadway Kids will perform a Reader's Theater production of Noel Coward's classic comedy Blithe Spirit on Saturday, January 29th at 7 pm.
Broadway Kids is an ongoing program for young actors ages 8 to 14. Past productions by Broadway Kids include The Music Man and Oliver! Blithe Spirit is the first Reader's Theater production to be performed by the group.Blithe Spirit is a comedy about a man and his second wife as they are "haunted" by the spirit of his dead first wife.Reader's Theater is a style of theater in which the actors do not memorize their lines. Instead, they will sit together and read from the script using their voices to bring the story to life.
