Electric City Playhouse Hosts CD Release Party & Performance For Christopher Branch

By: Mar. 12, 2010

On March 12 at 8:00PM local singer/songwriter/guitarist Christopher Branch will be performing songs from his third CD, "And If All These Things Are True", along with a selection of previously released works, to celebrate the release of the album. Christopher was raised in the Foothills of South Carolina and has been a successful songwriter, solo artist and frontman for the extremely talented band, Cedars Of Lebanon. Known for a honest writing style, his work shows his blue-collar, bible-belt upbringing, and the wide assortment of music that he was introduced to at a young age. His knack for mixing introspective and playful lyrics with a percussive guitar style, and his bluesy-gruff voice, has gained him many fans around the Southeast. He has been featured at various events and festivals and has shared the stage with many respected artists such as NeedToBreathe, Jars Of Clay and Tom Conlon. Christopher's songwriting repertoire is wide-ranging for a young man and his songs have been covered by many regional artists. Christopher currently lives in Seneca, SC with his dogs Bijou and Chantilly, and is engaged to his beautiful fiancée, Keri Rose.

The Christopher Branch concert and CD release party at the Electric City Playhouse follows the sold out performances of Man of Constant Sorrows, A Stanley Brothers Musical, the 9th Annual Clay Ross Reunion Concert and the wildly popular Showtime at First Baptist, and continues to solidify ECP as the one of the most sought-after performing art venues in the Upstate. General admission tickets for March 12th at 8:00PM are $10 and include a free copy of the new album, "And If All These Things Are True." Seating is limited and expected to fill up quickly. For ticket information please call the Electric City Playhouse Box Office at (864) 224-4248 or visit ecplayhouse.com.
